Here are some Frequently Asked Questions
Q: It looks so fast - I'm not very fit, will I be able to keep up?
A: There are lower impact and intensity options so that you pick the level that suits you. In fact, when I teach it I will show the higher levels, but spend a lot of the time doing the lower intensity levels.
Q: But I have no rhythm, what if I go wrong?
A: I have had so many people say they have no rhythm when they first come along to my classes, and quite frankly, when thy get going this is clearly not the case! BUT - what they sometime don't have before they start the class is self confidence. So you need to know that no one will make fun of you if you miss a step, or even if you stand around looking bemused. We won't stop the whole class and make you practice til you get it right and we ALL make mistakes. The biggest fun is when I make a mistake - and yes it really does happen - usually at least once a session. (I have been known to put in the occasional error on purpose, to give us all a good laugh!)
Q: What shall I wear?
A: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. trainers are fine, but the lighter the better with little tread, not running shoes.
Q: What if I get it wrong?
A: There is no If, we all get something wrong. Don't take it too seriously, maybe have a giggle and keep moving.
Q: Do I need to commit to coming every week?
A: There is an option to pay for 5 classes in advance and this will give you the 6th FREE. This is an option that suits some people to encourage them to come along regularly. However, not everyone is able to commit, maybe due to work patterns, in which case it is fine to turn up when you can and pay as you go.
Q:Do I need to book?
A: Generally it is ok to turn up as the classes are not full. However, it is best to keep in touch because when any venue becomes full I will restrict numbers so that there is plenty of room. In this case it will be necessary to book.
